I See You

I see you

I see you
Walking through a dream, I see you
My light in darkness, breathing hope of new life
Now I live through you and you through me, enchanted
I pray in my heart that this dream never ends

I see me through your eyes
Breathing new life, flying high
Your love shines the way into paradise
So I offer my life as a sacrifice
I live through your love

You teach me how to see all that’s beautiful
My senses touch a world I never pictured
Now I give my hope to you, I surrender
I pray in my heart that this world never ends

I see me through your eyes
Breathing new life, flying high
Your love shines the way into paradise
So I offer my life, I offer my love, for you

When my heart was never open
(And my spirit never free)
To the world that you have shown me
But my eyes could not envision
All the colors of love and of life evermore

Evermore
(I see me through your eyes)
I see me through your eyes
(Living new life flying high)
Flying high

Your love shines the way into paradise
So I offer my life as a sacrifice

And live through your love
And live through your life

I see you
I see you

(By Leona Lewis; Songwriters: Franglen, Simon / Harrell, Thaddis / Horner, James)

I loved and still loving, this theme song from the movie, Avatar. A 2009 American set in the mid-22nd century, where humans are colonizing Pandora, a lush habitable moon of a gas giant in the Alpha Centauri star system, in order to mine the mineral unobtanium, a room-temperature superconductor. The expansion of the mining colony threatens the continued existence of a local tribe of Na’vi-a humanoid species indigenous to Pandora. The film’s title refers to agenetically engineered Na’vi body with the mind of a remotely located human that is used to interact with the natives of Pandora. Other than the battle for survival of the world of a Na’vi woman, I am drawn into the glimpse of hope to see life in a different light, with the romance that buds between the Na’vi woman and a paralyzed former Marine, who becomes mobile again through one such Avatar. This glimpse of hope in the plot somehow shed some new light for me to see Life after death, literally and metaphorically.

As yet another new chapter in life unfolds, I am still learning how to see you, perhaps even more so, to see me, through You. All things are made possible now, through the You who is so deep, so wide and so great. The You, who is almighty and all-knowing. There seems to be a deep awakening in my soul, seeing me, through You.

It mattered, to me, that life is not at all fair, that some are rich and some, poor, some are blessed and some, suffer, some are strong and some, weak, and some are loved and some, not. It mattered that there is only so little time we can have and so little time left. It mattered, at least, to me, that I am imperfect, that I am far from what it is intended to be. It mattered. It mattered so much that my heart was hardened and I could hardly inhale the fragrance of goodness. It mattered so much that I was blinded to see the colors of love and life. I lived but in vain, in a world of darkness that did nothing but chained my spirit and suffocated my soul.

Hebrews 4:10 says, “For whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from His.”

This is the Light that brought me out of darkness, unchained my broken spirit, taught me how to see all that is beautiful and gave me senses to touch a world I never pictured. John 19:30 “… It is finished, …” I can now live through this Love and live through this Life because it is finished, the work is done. I see you and I see me through Your eyes, living new life, flying high.

“I believe in Christ as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”~C. S. Lewis

His beautiful & relentless love makes a soul relentlessly beautiful.
