To my darling baby (forever) sister, a blessed & merriest sweet 15th and many more beautiful years of celebrating your life ahead.
You are all grown up.
I am guilty of not always being able to remember how precious a gift from God you were and are to me and the family. I thank God for all the days that He has allowed you by my side, rain or shine, and more to come.
I thank God that we can talk, eat, laugh, dance, sing, play, work, disagree, fight, cry, together.
We do stuff, some I supposed, only sisters can enjoy doing together.
Some things do not change. You are still the carefree girl who do not like to tidy up your hair on most days, haven’t a care in the world and might dance in a field of daisies, if you could.
You still dislike fuss. You are witty when you do not feel too lazy. You are street-smart, far more sensible for your age most times-aware and sensitive to the needs of others. Of it all, you have a big heart of God, generous and compassionate.
With you, this precious gift of God, I have learnt and still learning how to live and love, for God.
The nurturing I had once only wished to receive, God showed and gave to me by giving me this opportunity to love and care for you all these years. Through the life of my lovely baby sister, I experience our Father’s embrace-the beautiful exchange of love, loving, giving, receiving, that has no bounds.
On this special day, we celebrate this life. To my dearest babe,
You are a gift from our Heavenly Father, to me and the family. May His Light continue to shine so brightly in your life til the end of days and forevermore. May you continue to find your assurance and security in Him and draw confidence to live life to the fullness, out of the beauty He has created you to be. “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” (Ephesians 2:10, NLT)
May you continue to dwell in His Presence, grow in His Love and glow for His Glory.
In His most Loving name, Amen.
His beautiful & relentless love makes a soul relentlessly beautiful.
